This LEED silver building resides on the same lot as the Union County Police headquarters (also by The Musial Group) and is part of the County master plan to condense facilities and breed synergies and efficiencies within the county infrastructure. The building houses the County Emergency Management vehicles and police S.W.A.T. equipment. In addition to vehicle storage, office space for County services, the County Superintendent of Schools, Passport office as well as a Rutgers extension are accommodated within the facility. 
    
The building boasts an extensive geothermal heating and cooling system as well as a photovoltaic array which provides shade and cover for the raised parking area.
