ROSELLE PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL

The additions and renovations to the Roselle Park Middle school were begun in 2004 and completed in 2006. There were two additions that included (6) new classrooms, (4) new resource rooms, a media center, computer room, storage rooms, kitchen with storage, and a music room. The additions also included a handicap access elevator for the existing three story building, and a new fire exit stair. The renovations included a new cafeteria space, life skills room, offices, art room, and new exit stairs from the existing gymnasium. The heating system of the existing building was completely replaced as well as improvements to the electrical and plumbing systems.

The additions were designed to blend with the exterior brick façade of the existing three story building. Masonry trim, glazed block and colored metal panels were included to harmonize with the original 1930’s vintage building. The project also included new parking lots and site lighting, improvements to the existing playing fields and new fencing
